Petra van Woensel, Commercial Manager of Dreumex B.V., was announced as winner of the Export Manager Award 2010 on October 5, 2010. Her passion and love of the export business, combined with a well structured and successful export policy were what swayed the judges.

The export policy conducted by Petra led to a transformation of the way in which Dreumex operates internationally. This resulted partly in the fact that, in a shrinking market, 10% growth was achieved in three consecutive years. In addition to this, the distribution network was extended substantially, a new local branch was set up in the Czech Republic and Dreumex is today, in 2010, market leader in 8 European countries.

The Export Manager Award
Fenedex, the organizer of this competition, nominated Petra van Woensel and three other finalists, after tough pre-selection. When deciding on the winner, a number of criteria are taken into account. In addition to the content and form of the presentation, the export policy and the results achieved, the dedication and passion for the profession are also considered.
